Tina Bartel’s aircraft sales and management experience began in the 1980s as a salesperson for Piper Aircraft. From there, her resume resembles a Who’s Who of the aviation industry: Director of Sales and Marketing for Piper; Director of Pomona Valley Aviation with its sister company, Inland Empire Airlines; Founder of the European marketing firm, Calibre; and Acquisitions Specialist for Worldwide Jet. Throw in multi-engine Commercial Pilot and you’ve got a woman that knows her way around the jet industry.

Recognizing a lack of fresh ideas in the jet sales sector, Bartel launched Jet Madam, a spinoff of her interactive and buyer-popular site JetList.com, founded the previous year. Jet Madam is Bartel’s confident foray into the things that really make her tick: aviation business savvy, attitude and a proclivity for thinking outside the box.
